The Center for Health Policies and Studies (PAS Center) is currently implementing the “Reducing HIV-related burden in the Republic of Moldova” Program, financed by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for training courses to medical and non-medical specialists responsible for service provision to PLHIV or any other group of specialists nominated by PAS Center aimed at transferring knowledge and building skills for qualitative services provision to PLHIV.
Trainings will be targeted at the groups focused on the topics and mentioned bellow:
• Medical assistance to people living with HIV for Infectious disease specialists;
• Voluntary counseling and testing for counselors from VCT network;
• HIV case management / Quality assurance of services for PLHIV / Normative framework for multidisciplinary teams from Social Regional Centers for PLHIV;
• HIV & HR, non-discrimination and mechanisms to act in cases of HR violations for representatives of NGOs and initiative groups responsible for service provision to PLHIV.
The PAS Center now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing specific training services based on the list above. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (for individuals – CVs).
The strongest individuals will be selected to conduct specific training activities described in the Terms of Reference. PAS Center will negotiate the terms of consultancy agreements with individual consultants based on overall cost considerations for the full assignment.
The selection of consultants will be carried out in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (current edition).
The Consultants are hereby invited to submit their updated CV specifying the type of trainings (topics and targeted group) for which they express the interest.
